- 1 (19 oz.) can of garbanzo beans, drain and reserve liquid
- 2 Tbsp. tahini
- 2 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 c.
- Jeff’s Garden Sliced Golden Greek Peperoncini, drained
- 1 small clove garlic
- Salt to taste
Optional- diced peperoncini, fresh parsley and a drizzle of olive oil to garnish.
In a food processor, puree the beans, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, peperoncini and garlic. Add some of the reserved bean liquid until it’s reached the desired consistency. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with a few chopped up slices of peperoncini, some fresh parsley and a drizzle of olive oil.
Serve with your favorite chips, pita, or fresh veggies.
